I've generated my sitemap but cannot find the proper root folder. Google is asking for http://thehrdifference.com/Sitemap. Using the File Manager, I cannot find any folder that is specifically named as described above. I tried placing the sitemap in the public.html folder with no results.
When you upload a Google sitemap, you simply name the sitemap "<em>sitemap.xml</em>" and place it in the document root folder of your domain. For the main domain, you upload it to the "<em>public_html</em>" folder. Please see the following link on <a href="http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/google-tools/what-is-a-xml-sitemap-and-how-do-i-create-one">What is a XML sitemap and how do I create one?</a>.
Once you upload the sitemape.xml to your public_html for your main domain, you can visit the file in the browser to see it load by visiting your website like the following:
Supplement your-domain.com with your domain.
