How do I access my VPS server using Windows Remote desktop?
Category: File Management
Thanks for the question! Access to the VPS is accomplished through a web browser or terminal and not through the Windows Remote Desktop program. You do not have a virtual connection to the server in order to control it - you are directly connecting to the software that gives you access to the server or through a command line interface. The main interface for working with your server is the Web Host Manager. Use our article on how to login to WHM to get familiar with the interface.
If you're interested in learning about and using SSH, check our article on learning about Shell access . We also have a tutorial that will walk you through logging into SSH as well as obtaining a client for working with SSH if needed.
I hope this helps to answer your question! If you have any further questions, please let us know.
