How do I restore emails I deleted?
Category: Email Troubleshooting
Hi, how can I restore deleted emails?
Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. Once an email is deleted from the server, it is gone. However, if you have used the full cPanle backup feature or have backed up the accounts home directory in cPanel, the emails may be in there. Emails are stored in folders in the home directory of the appropriate cPanel account.
If you do not have a cPanel backup, we do perform regular backups for VPS accounts under 10GB in size. These backups are ran every 24 to 36 hours and may contain the emails you are looking for. If you want to have us review the backup and restore email from it, you will need to contact our support department.
Support can be reached by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to provide specific details as your primary domain name as well as verification. Verification can be provided in the form of your current AMP password or the last four digits of the credit card on file.
We cannot restore individual emails, so you may potentially have a large number of unwanted emails in which you will have to delete.
If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
