emails not downloading to outlook

I am a new customer. I have set up email accounts for my domain. DNS has propagated, so domain is already pointing to my inmotion account. Emails are being received via webmail. My email client, outlook 2010, has been set up with the proper settings, and the test shows it is connecting, with no errors, to the inmotion email servers.

However, nothing is getting downloaded. If I send a test message via outlook to the email address it is getting received and I can see it via webmail. If I send a test message from the email address to another email address not hosted in inmotion, it is also getting received.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing? As I mentioned, the outlook settings appear to be okay and have passed the test. But no actual emails are being downloaded even though they are sitting right there in webmail.

I did some searching online and I read a post that says leaving emails on the sever could slow or prevent downloading. So I changed my outlook settings for one email acct to not leave emails in the server. When I clicked to send/receive, the emails on the server disappeared, which should be what happens when they are being downloaded. However, the emails are still not showing up on my outlook client. Any ideas?

Okay, I figured it out. The problem was with my Outlook folder set up for the email account. Somehow it created a duplicate folder instead of using the existing folder (this is a preexisting email acct). Anyhow, the problem was not with the inmotion email servers, it was my outlook client. It's working fine now.
