Domain was registered through GoDaddy, do I need to do anything else?
Category: Domain Names
i bought the domain with godaddy and i already change the nameservers, do i need to change anything else on my godaddy acount? for inmotionhosting to be able to work?
Thanks for the question about your domain name servers. If you have registered a domain with a 3rd party domain registrar like GoDaddy, then the main thing to use the domain with our hosting would be to change the name servers. When name servers are changed there may be a period called "domain propagation" that typically requires 24 hours or less - this is the time it would take for the internet servers to update with the new name server information. Once the propagation has completed then you can use the domain name to reference your website files from InMotion Hosting's servers.
I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.
