I just checked latest visitors from cpanel for the first time. I noticed on there that some of the referring urls was Is this some sort of a porn bot or something? Is this normal or do I need to be concerned? Also, should I add prevent hotlinking of images to htaccess? Is there a tutorial on how to do this?

Hello MtnBeachBum,

That is most likely just a bot sniffing around. Most are harmless. You can, however block it's IP address from within the cPanel using the IP Deny Manager. This writes the proper code to the .htaccess file.

In answer to your question about hotlinking, preventing it is completely up to you, but you can do so by following this tutorial if you decide to do so.

I hope this helps!

Best Regards,
Scott M
