Is there a report or other method to see were pages are files are used on the website and in particular when used by links. Trying to determine if a page or file is being use so I can determine if I can delete it.

Hello,

You can view your access logs which will tell you what pages you have are being accessed but no I do not believe such a tool exist to do that automatically.

I must not have been very clear on my question so let me try again. I want to be able to find out all the place in SiteBuilder that reference any pages or files associated with my website. For example: Say page 10 and page 20 both reference Page 1 by way of a link. Is there a way for me to see all these kinds references. Sometimes it gets difficult to remember all the places in my website that I referenced a page or file so would like a list to show Page 1 was referenced by page 10 and Page 20 and so on for each page and file.

Hello spenceke,

You can use the grep command to look through the files if you use SSH to access the account. For instance, if you want a list of files that use the term 'example.html' you would use the following command:

grep -rl 'example.html' ./

Run that command in the public_html directory and it will list all files in the account that include 'example.html'. Simply replace 'example.html' with the file name you want to look for.
