Backup files

When it comes to making a backup of your website files, there are many options available.

If you just wanted your email and website files you could create a partial cPanel backup. If you also wanted to grab a copy of your database for safekeeping, you could either backup your database in cPanel or backup your database in phpMyAdmin.

If you wanted every last detail of your account backed up, then you’d want to go with a full cPanel backup.

If you have a larger cPanel account you wouldn’t want to use the built-in backup tools, and instead you could create a FTP backup.

If you are planning on making changes to a file on your server, you might want to think to backup a file before editing.

Finally if you’ve used Softaculous install an application to create your website, you can also backup your Softaculous install.
