The purpose of the conference is to help shape student&#8217;s expectations and attitudes about their own STEM studies, while broadening their understanding of career opportunities in the areas of STEM.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 900 students took part in the STEM Conference and more than 50 demonstrations were provided by area professionals. Elliott Peay from our Development Team represented InMotion Hosting at the event, providing students with an overview of the technical inter-workings of a web hosting company.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what Elliott had to say about his experience as a presenter:<\/p>\n<p><em>It was a pleasure to speak at the STEM Conference. I think the students learned quite a bit about how the Internet works.
