Hometown:\u00a0I was a military kid. Born in San Diego, CA. but\u00a0I have lived in many places, my father having been in the military.\u00a0 Initially, I spent a few years growing up in Guam, however, the majority of my life has been spent in Hampton VA, so I would have to say Hampton is my hometown.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you enjoyed working in the web hosting industry since starting at InMotion Hosting?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMH has made the web hosting industry a very enjoyable and interesting experience since joining the team in 2019. Every day I get to learn something completely new and get to work with a bunch of really awesome people to help develop solutions to new problems!  The skills I have picked up along the way are some of the most valuable takeaways that I have.  I came in knowing almost nothing about the web hosting industry, but then excelled through the Support floor, all with the help of everyone I met along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your current role at InMotion Hosting? What do you like most about it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently a VA Independence Training Assistant. I started with the company in February of 2019 as a CSR, from there I moved to T1, T1E, APS, and finally my current position as a Training Assistant.  It goes to show that if you put your best effort forward, you can pretty much go wherever you would like within the walls of IMH, which is something I’ve never experienced before.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coolest gadget you own, want to own or have read about?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coolest gadget I own would have to be my 3D printer. I truly enjoy tinkering and making new little knick-knacks for my friends and family. I used to do a lot of 3D modeling and animation in high school, so it’s almost like bringing those to life before my eyes, barring the actual movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What would you like to tell us about yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really like to help people, and not just co-workers. I try to make it a goal to help at least one random stranger each week. It puts a little more happiness back into the world and at the end of the day, gives someone out there the chance to breathe and know that there are people out there that do things out of kindness and not personal gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
