InMotion Hosting is lucky to be able to partner with some great organizations in the community. Our Partnership Spotlight series will serve to highlight these organizations and give them credit for all they do. Today we would like to highlight our relationship with Junior Achievement!
“Junior Achievement’s Purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.” They have over 100 local chapters across the country, and each chapter is dedicated to helping young people succeed in life. The main areas they focus on are work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
We decided to pick three Junior Achievement chapters that are closest to our office locations in an effort to invest in the communities that our team members live and work in. In total, InMotion Hosting donated over $2,500 to this amazing organization!
Local to our Virginia Beach, VA office, we are partnering with Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads. Our donation was able to sponsor students in each of the following schools:
- Bayside High School
- Cox High School
- First Colonial High School
- Green Run High School
- Kellam High School
- Kempsville High School
- Landstown High School
- Ocean Lakes High School
In Lakewood, CO, we were able to give to the local Junior Achievement Colorado Rocky Mountain chapter to sponsor a class at Green Mountain High School. Students here will be completing the Personal Success curriculum. This course gives them the opportunity to explore careers and learn how to navigate the job search process. The skills learned will teach them not only how to land a job in their chosen fields, but how to succeed in those positions as well.
Junior Achievement Southern California is the local chapter near our Los Angeles, CA office. There, we donated to a class at Aspire Ollin University Prep Academy, benefiting low income families. These students will participate in programs offered to help them plan for their future after graduation.
