About a month ago, we shared a sad story about our Content Marketing Manager, Michelle, and her cat, Marlo. Well, that story isn’t over. If you missed the first part, we recommend that you head on over and read it.
When a friend as dear as Marlo goes missing, it isn’t easy. It’s even harder when you come so close to the possibility of finding him, only to realize that it’s just not meant to be anymore. While Marlo is still missing and the animal rescue agency in Reno hasn’t been able to catch the cat they suspect is him, we wanted to share some exciting news with you. Here in the marketing department, we gained a new team member. That’s right, he’s already got a place in our hearts!
Today, we want to introduce you to Oliver. He’s a pretty adorable kitty and we’re so excited that Michelle adopted him!
You see, one day while Michelle was online, she found a website with Oliver’s picture on it. She felt an instant connection and reached out to learn more about him. Being just 9 months old, Oliver has not yet had a place that he could call ‘home’. Michelle is changing that. And it’s all because of a picture that she saw on a website.
A website can not only provide information, but it can also connect people together to find lost animals, or in Michelle’s case, connect her with a new friend. It doesn’t matter if you’re an animal rescue agency, a stay-at-home mom, a wannabe blogger, or even a busy dad that wants to share his hobbies with others, you can make a difference through a website. A difference that could impact people around the world.
Maybe you’re saying, yes, I want to start sharing and connecting with visitors around the world through a website, but I don’t know how to build one. We heard you and launched QuickStarter, a way to have a professionally-designed website built in less than two business days.
You might wonder, what about updates? We’ve partnered with a simple to use drag-and-drop system that allows you to make updates and changes quickly and easily. The best part? If you get stuck, we’re just a phone call away. The website is yours–we encourage you to make an impact.
