Create a blank database
Written by Brad MarkleIn a previous step, you were advised to download a copy of your database that you use with your previous hosting provider (if your website uses a database). The end goal will be to migrate those databases to your InMotion Hosting account.
At this point, you should have a copy of your database. Before you can import the database to your InMotion Hosting account, you need to create a blank database that you will import the data into. To create a blank database, please use your MySQL Database Wizard.
Be sure to write down the database name, user name, and password on the FTP and Database Information Needed form we have provided.
