Though Prestashop 1.5 has a set of default pages including Delivery, Legal Notice, About us, etc. you may want to add additional pages to your site. PrestaShop allows the adding of additional pages via a tool called CMS (Content Management System.) Adding a new content page to PrestaShop 1.5 is a very simple, user-friendly process.

To add a new page in PrestaShop 1.5:

  1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard.
  2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Preferences tab and select the CMS option from the menu.
    preferences-tab-cms
  3. You will now be on the CMS categories page. Look for the Pages in Tthis Category section and then click on the green Add New button.
    preferences-cms-add-page
  4. This takes you to the Edit CMS Pages page, where you will enter the details of the page. The required fields of this page is Meta Title (the page title) and the Friendly URL, which fills in automatically when you enter the title. Be sure to select the Enable radio button to display the page, otherwise PrestaShop 1.5 will hold it as a draft copy.
    preferences-cms-add-page-content
  5. Once finished, click on the Save button on the top of the screen.
  6. Your new page will display in the page list.
    preferences-cms-add-page-complete

You have now successfully enabled the Friendly URL setting in PrestaShop 1.5

Hello Ardhi,

What type of trouble are you having? What steps are you taking to remove the image? What steps can you give me to duplicate the issue? What is the exact error message you are getting, if any?

Kindest Regards,
Scott M

Hello Ardhi,

Sorry for the problem. In general, when you're dealing with an image in storefront, you have to deal with a module or the theme. In this case, you're dealing with module named block advertising. Go to the PrestaShop Administrator >Modules. Select Advertising & Marketing, then select Block Advertising. You can click on Configure and change the image, remove it, or even uninstall the module to get rid of the image.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.

Thank you for your question about blogging in PrestaShop. There are many 3rd party Modules for blogging in PrestaShop.

Some of the most popular are Professional blog Module, Blog Prestashop Pro Module, and Blog for PrestaShop.
