PrestaShop 1.5 Release Candidate 2 Available!

PrestaShop 1.5 has made release candidate 2 publically available!

While it is not recommended for use just yet on a live site, you can certainly install it for development and testing. Download it here.

What's new in PrestaShop 1.5?

Following are just some of the features that are new in PrestaShop 1.5:

1. Multistore Management – this allows any shop administrator to manage multiple stores from a single back office.
   
2. New Modules API – The API structure has been revised to help you manage updates to all of your modules, including automatically checking for the latest versions.
3. Cart pricing rules – Easily manage your cart's pricing, including providing discounts on items in your customer’s cart. "A convenient way to make promotional offers stand out to your customers (e.g. Buy two items, get the third for one dollar…)" according to Prestashop.com 
4. Place or modify orders from the Back-office - This ability allows store owner and admins to create orders for customers in the back office. This allows you to take orders over the phone, email, etc.

Other additional features await as well such as an advanced stock management, and redesigned admin panel and customer service system.
