After installing and configuring your PrestaShop 1.5 you may edit the Front Office security of your store. This changes a token that is attached to the cookie when visitors come to the site.

To edit the Front Office security in PrestaShop 1.5:

  1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard
  2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Preferences tab and select the General option.
  3. Find the Increase Front Office Security option. Select Yes to enable the security token or No to disable it. It should be on as a default and we do NOT recommend that you turn it off, but you may have your own reasons for doing so.preferences-general-edit-front-office-security
  4. When finished, click on the green Save button in the upper right corner to save your SSL configuration.

You have now edited the Front Office security for your PrestaShop 1.5 store.
