Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. You will need to use an image editor to re-size the images to the correct size. You can use a free program called GIMP to do so. Here's a link to installing GIMP on your local computer.

Unfortunately, we do not have tutorials onre-sizing images, since it varies per application.
Basically, you will need to find out the correct banner size, by previewing the site and right clicking on the banner. Then click on properties, to see the size of the image.
Once you have the size of the image, you'll then need to edit your custom banner to match the same size using a photo editor such as GIMP. Then you can upload your edited image in the correct size.
