  1. Log into your Magento Admin Backend
  2. Go to Customers ->> Customer Group
  3. magento_cust_group_1

  4. Click on the customer group you want to delete
  5. magento_delete_group_1

  6. Click "Delete Customer Group"
  7. magento_delete_group_2

  8. Click "OK"

Hello Kate,

Do you have a backup of your Magento database? I'm assuming you'd have to restore the specific NOT LOGGED IN customer group from there.

How were you able to delete the default group? When reading the Magento documentation for creating a user group it specifically states:

By default, Magento comes with two Customer Groups: NOT LOGGED IN and General... Neither of these Customer Groups can be deleted, and the Group Name for NOT LOGGED IN cannot be edited.
