Understanding Product Tags in Magento 1.6

Magento 1.6 allows the use of tags as descriptors that can be assigned to any product to help further organize and categorize them. You can think of product tags as Keywords or key phrases that better describe the product. Any logged in user can create tags for a product but before the tags will be viewable by everyone else, the admin or store owner must approve them. Once the tages have been approved, they will appear in the Magento 1.6 front-end for everyone to see. Once a tag is approved it can be used on other products and assigned there by other users. Tags are great ways to help your customers remember products and customize their experience on your website.
