Written by Brad MarkleMenus
Joomla 2.5 menus provide the basic site navigation for your website. They allow you to link visitors to other parts of your website.

Menu Items
Each Menu contains one or more menu items. Menu items are the actual navigational links that users click on. When setting up menu items, there are quite a few options you have to choose from. The most popular menu items are links that point to either specific articles or to a listing of all articles in a category.

Menu Modules
Creating a menu does not automatically add the menu anywhere to your site. When you create a new Joomla 2.5 menu, a module for that menu is created. You then need to enable the menu's module and select the position in the template where the menu should go.
