Your Joomla 2.5 Dashboard is the administrative area of your Joomla website, and allows you to manage all aspects of your website. After installing Joomla 2.5, your next step in getting to know Joomla is to learn how to log into your dashboard.

To log into your Joomla Dashboard:

  1. Visit your Joomla URL and add /administrator

For example, if you have joomla installed at http://domain.com, visit http://yourdomain.com/administrator to get to the admin login screen

  2. Enter your Joomla username and password and click "Login"

  3. Congratulations, you are now logged into your Joomla 2.5 Dashboard!

Now that you are logged into your Joomla 2.5 dashboard, you can begin creating your website. If you're ready to begin creating pages, move to our Joomla 2.5 article writing guide.

Hello Josh,

Sorry to hear you're having problems with the website. Unfortunately, we do need a little more detail than what you have given. Can you specify the problem or give the steps to replicate your current problem? We can't teach you to build the entire website from scratch, but we can provide advice, guides and resolve specific issues for the software you're using. Please provide more information and we can try to give you a hand.

Regards,
Arnel C.

Hello Christy,

Thank you for your question. Since you posted your question in the Joomla 2.5 section, here is a link to the guide on How to change the Site Language in Joomla 2.5.

It is much easier in Joomla 3 if you run that version. Here is the guide on How to change your site language in Joomla 3.1.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
