How to bold, italicize, and underline text in Joomla 2.5

The most basic text formatting options users are aware of include:

1. bold
2. italic
3. underline

Joomla 2.5 makes it very easy to set text as bold, italic, or underlined. We'll take you through the necessary steps in this Joomla tutorial.

To apply basic text formatting in the Joomla 2.5 article editor:

1. Open for edit the article you would like to change
2. Highlight the exact text you want to modify
3. Click either the bold, italic, or underline button (see screenshot below)
