Using the Quarantined List for McAfee Email Protection
When you are using McAfee Email Protection, emails flagged as Spam will be put in a Quarantine list. There are several options for what you can do with the emails.
In this guide we will show you how to use the Quarantine list in the McAfee Control Console.
Emails on the quarantine list will be accessible for 7 days, before they are permanently deleted.
How to Use the Quarantine List:
- Access the McAfee Control Console.
- Click the Quarantine tab.
- Click the check box next to the email that you want to work with.
- Above the message, click your preferred option.
Here is a description of the available options:
Option Description Release If you choose this option, the email will be delivered to your Inbox. Always Allow This option will deliver the message to your Inbox, and add the sender to your Allowed / White list. Delete If you select this option, the message will be permanently deleted. View Choose this option to review the email without allowing it to access your Inbox.
