View / Change Your McAfee Admin Email Address
When you are using McAfee Email Protection, you are required to specify a contact email address. This should be an outside email address that is not associated with this account such as a Yahoo, Google Mail, or Hotmail, which are all free.
In this guide we will show you how to see what your Admin email address is for McAfee, then we will walk you through changing this address.
This is only for people that have purchased McAfee Email Protection.
Viewing your McAfee Admin Email Address:
- Login to your cPanel.
- Under the Mail section, click the McAfee Email Protection button.
On the bottom you will see the McAfee Contact Email listed:
Changing the email address:
- Type the new address in the McAfee Contact Email field, then click the Update button.
It may take a few minutes to complete.
Congratulations, now you are able to locate and change your McAfee Protection contact email address!
