How to change your Domain Nameservers in AMPWritten by Brad Markle
You have access to change the nameservers of any domains registered with InMotion Hosting. You can make any changes to the nameservers in your Account Management Panel (or AMP). For help logging into AMP, please read this article on logging into AMP.

Once you have logged into AMP, to change your nameservers:
- Under "Domain Management" click on Manage Domain
- Next, select the domain that you want to make the nameserver change for.
- Click on Point your domain
- Finally, enter your primary and secondary nameservers. Remember that you will always need to enter two nameservers. Once you are done, click Submit.
Since changing nameservers is a DNS change, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
Important! If you are only pointing your domain to your server IP address, you will need to do this where the nameservers point. If you are pointing your domain away from our server to another server and you want to keep the nameservers pointing to ours (For example, Weebly, Blogger, Squarespace etc.), you can edit the DNS zone A record. Please see our article on How do I make custom DNS records?
