Hi, If this is duplicate is because I can't find my post, so I bet I didn't hit submit. My site is toocutetube.com. I have similar problems. My videos all go to a 404 page except on the home page where "stella" plays fine...however, "stella" goes to a 404 page if I try to play it from my library on my dashboard. I don't think that I did anything either. Please help. Thanks.
I was able to duplicate the issue. This often occurs when the permalinks get confused. To fix this issue, simply go into the admin area and disable the permalinks from their current status, save, and then reset them back to where they were. This is covered in detail, in our full article on Resetting WordPress Permalinks. I did this to your site and the videos now work as they should with no 404 error on the page. Please let us know if you have any further issues with the site.
So Scott, did you create the user "newadmin?" Should I delete you? If it wasn't you, what should I do? Thanks
I went to my control panel and in the software/services section there's a button that says php configuration, when you click on that a little drop down menu appears and there you can chose the latest version of PHP, which I was on 5.2 and upgraded it to 5.5. When I did that the 404 errors went away.
