Trying to use backup buddy to migrate existing site to new site but receiving error message
Category: Wordpress
When I try to navigate to importbuddy.php, this is the message I receive:
Not Found
The requested URL /importbuddy.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
BackupBuddy suggests that I "Ask your host to enable access to the Linux command line Zip command via PHP's exec() function."

Hello Klg0147, Apologies, but it appears that my first response never went out. I went looking for more information about importbuddy, and unfortunately information is a bit sparse. If the problem is primarily that you need the linux command line ZIP, unfortunately it is available only with VPS and Dedicated server installations. I'm double-checking on this now, but this what I've been told at this point. You can restore a Wordpress installation another way. Here's a link that details the process: Migrating Wordpress If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Regards, Arnel C. |
