How do I access the WP Dashboard. The URL does not work

I tried the Premium Web Builder. Too restrictive, and generic.
So, I installed Word Press. Tried to use the admin url to access WP, and got a HTTP404 error message that the site could not be found.

Any suggestions or assistance?

Hello RosaC,

It appears that you specified "https" in your installation of the Wordpress installation. When I try to access th log-in screen for the admin, it is attempting to use an HTTPS URL - which does not exist. In order to have SSL-secured paths, you will need to purchase a specific SSL Certificate (What is SSL why is it important?).

My suggestion would be to remove the installation, and then re-install with no reference to an HTTPS path. If you need help with installation of Wordpress, go here: How to Install Wordpress
