Hello kathar13,

Thank you for your question. You shouldn't need the database information to access your Wordpress site after a successful installation.

Here is a link to our guide on logging into the Wordpress Dashboard.

We are happy to help, but need more information to provide a specific answer. Could you please provide exact steps you are taking, so we can attempt to replicate the issue?

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul

Installed Wordpress through softaculous and entered a username, password, and viable email. When I try and login with mydomain.com/wp-admin it brought up a page that told me that my username and password info in my wp-config.php file is incorrect.

Hello kathar13,

I checked the settings of wp-config.php file, and the database information is incorrect. Was there files already there from an older installation of Wordpress?

If this is a new installation from scratch, I would recommend uninstalling Wordpress using Softaculous, then reinstalling it from scratch.

Softaculous will setup the database information for you when it installs, so there should be no need to go in and modify the settings afterward.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,
