Can we edit/design website before transfering our URL to InMotion Hosting?

I am the volunteer web site manager for a small church in central Florida. We are in the process of changing our web service to InMotion Hosting. What we would like to accomplish is to continue our service with our current hosting service until the 1st of November. We have obtained and activated for a year a business class hosting. Here is our question: Can we design and edit a website, using WordPress, off line before we transfer our URL to InMotion? If so…How?

Thank you for your question regarding setting up your website before transferring your URL.

Yes, you can begin working on your website and test it using your temp URL.

Then when you are ready to go live with your URL, point your domain to our Nameservers.
