Hi johnwsperry, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to help you today. Shared customers do not have access to SSH to run shell commands. I've looked into xWiki and it appears it runs on the JAVA platform which is not available in a shared hosting environment. To run a servlet such as Tomcat you'll need to be on a VPS1024 or higher. Have you thought about looking at using a PHP based wiki? Fantastico located in your cPanel supports the easy installation of two separate Wikis, such as TikiWiki and PhpWiki. Here's a guide to using fantastico: Getting Started with Fantastico If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Or if you are looking to upgrade from a shared hosting account to a VPS, then learn more about buying a VPS here. Thanks! Tim S. |
