I've noticed recently our webhost account is not showing files changes made by ftp on the web side.

I've uploaded this file through ftp
http://koukanstation.com/css/edit.png

But it doesn't show through web access (says it doesn't exist).
The file also will not show in the account control panel - file manager.

The answer Arn gave I didn't try because I think I should be able to use my domain name to connect to ftp. I used the ftp address shown in the "configure ftp client" option in the ftp account section of the account control panel and it worked.

Now today ftp accounts I created are not working. I didn't change any usernames/passwords.
I can try creating new accounts in the ftp accounts page and new accounts can't even connect.

I've also tried using the address listed in the 'technical details' in the AMP page also as Arn suggested.

Hello Gacktsan,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with uploading files. The reason you are not seeing the file and you're getting 404 Errors is because you're uploading the file to a DIFFERENT server. The server you are using is not the server that is actually serving the site. You can find your server information by looking at your account's technical information in AMP.

Use the information there and then re-publish the files to the proper location. You may need to re-upload the files using the .technical information

Hello Gacktsan,

Apologies for the issues. Your account did undergo a recent server move, so it is possible that the problem has to do with the way the DNS is resolving in our network. I have submitted a support ticket on your behalf to our live support team. They will be able to resolve the issue by updating the DNS for you. As this appears to be a DNS issue, you may need to allow for DNS Propagation - which may take as long as 24 hours to update. You will see a response from the live support reps via the ticket.

Again apologies for the issue, the problem should be rectified when your DNS is updated.

Regards,
Arnel C.
