testing uploaded files on temp url
Category: Website Troubleshooting
Code seems to be intact and 95% of site is OK.
Having 2 issues:
a. Regular nav tabs work fine but the Quicklinks dropdown menu (javascript) shows proper page selection but gives 404 error when clicked.
b. the three main home page images have mouseover effects- images seem to be in a loop loading- and the mouseover in any part of the band of the site causes images to flicker/flash
After a day trying to correct would appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks,
Lee

Hi Lee, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. I've looked in your error logs in cPanel and see the website keeps trying to find a file called"alt.webtraxs.com_" in the public_html folder. It appears the webtraxs.com account may be configured to work with a domain name and not the temp url, hence it keeps trying to grab a file that does not exist. If the alt.webtraxs.com script connects to your website using the domain name, it will not work on the temporary url of your web hosting account. I hope this helps! If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S |
