Is the php library curl installed?

Hi, I am on a shared server, and I have been trying to run a php script using curl, but the curl_init() function keeps failing. I am just checking to make sure that curl is installed. Because if it isn't I don't want to waste any more time trying to figure out why this is happening. :)

Hello Jdgrimes, Yes, CURL is definitely installed and available for use on the shared servers. Note that scripts executed from command line (like through cron jobs) will run as the USER unless CURL or LYNX are used. That is because mod_php is a standard for PHP scripts called over Apache, which does not apply to command line. The information that I listed above is what I found when researching the issue of CURL running on our shared servers.
