How do I upload a file to a subfolder using FileZilla?

I'm new at this. I have looked for info on Inmotionhosting but can't find anything that helps me. Here's what I am doing: I save info to a zip file on desktop & then unzip to another file. In Filezilla I find the file & upload. In Inmotionhosting it shows up in the /public_html but not in the right folder. Then I move it to the correct folder. Nothing shows up when I go to my web site & I do the 'F5' thing. I have done different variations of this. But NOTHING, NADA! HELP! Sue R
I am using Artisteer. I will be updating the web site every day & right now the only way I can do that is uploading the whole zip file instead of a single file. I need to know how to upload a single file.

Hi breezeway, Thanks for posting your question. I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'm more than happy to assist you today. I've looked over your account and noticed alot of files in your public_html folder. Where are you trying to place the files? Are the files for your main (primary) domain?
