Hi, when i try to publish new article in my website zorzone.net, I am getting "Error 406 - Not Acceptable

Generally a 406 error is caused because a request has been blocked by Mod Security. If you believe that your request has been blocked by mistake please contact the web site owner."

How can i fix this error?

Hello Kudometrics,

Thank you for your question today. While the 406 error can generally mean that there is a ModSecurity rule disallowing it, there can be other causes as well. As there is no specific information such as a domain name that can lead me to your account, I am not able to see. What Content Management System are you using? Have you made any custom changes to your .htaccess file? Did you install the CMS manually or via Softaculous?

Any of these answers can help us in troubleshooting your issue. Please reply with as much information as you can.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M

Hi ,
Sorry for not providing the full information. My domain is http://zorzone.net and I am using Life Type CMS. I didn't make any changes to the CMS or .htaccess file at all. I have just tried to login to my blog and publish an article, when the Error 406 shows up. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

This 406 error is caused by a coding error within the CMS that is flagging mod_security as harmful. To resolve the issue, you could turn mod_security off within your cPanel.
