My Website was working with just the index page and 1 graphic. I have just updated my index.htm web page, added 2 sub directories and now when I access my webpage, all I see is the directory listings INDEX OF. I have followed the other issues of setting the directorys to not allow listing and modification of the .htaccess file to no avail
This is a NEW website...!
I found the answer, index.htm is case sensitive. The .htaccess did not match index.htm

Hi Bridgewood,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. I'm glad you were able to resolve your issues with limiting directory listings. You are correct, the server's are running Linux, which is case sensitive unlike Windows computers. Index.html is not the same as index.html.

Thanks for keeping us updated. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
