Is it easier to set up Zen Cart outside of Inmotion?

I'm trying to install Zen Cart and having great difficulty. Is it easier to create your Zen Cart website outside of inmotion and then transfer it in. The file names Zen Cart uses do not match with the file names in my c-panel. Turning into a nightmare to install. thanks

Hello wtdog,

Transferring site files is typically more difficult and tedious than a clean install performed on the account.

If you have not done so, you may want to consider using the Softaculous tool for installing Zen Cart. It does most of the work behind the scened for you and is generally preferable to doing a manual install.
