Opencart - Remove products reviews completely

I don't need the product reviews functionality for my site. No stars needed, nothing.
I have disabled it from the Opencart dashboard, the Catalog>Reviews section as well, indeed almost everything - but it continues to appear in the Product Comparison page.
Anyone know how to get rid of the reviews and stars?
Any help is much appreciated.

Hello Nandol, and thank you for your questions. It looks like you might have possibly already figured this out on your own, as I am not seeing the product reviews on the compare products page either for your site. The rating field is completely empty. For anyone else that happens to come across this same problem, it's a matter of modifying your compare.tpl OpenCart template and either removing or commenting out the code regarding the reviews. I've written an article on this about how to remove rating and reviews from product comparison page in OpenCart. If you happened to find another solution that worked for you Nandol, please comment on this question with your findings to help out the rest of the community with another option. - Jacob |
