Prestashop Shared SSL Setup

Using Prestashop 1.4.8.2 and am working on setting it up with Stripe for payment. Just want to be sure I have the steps correct before I go live.

Want to use the shared SSL for business class. Is the URL https://secure83.inmotionhosting.com/~userna5/mystore.com the URL which goes in Back Office - Preferences - SEO & URLs - Shop Domain name for SSL??

And, the next step Prestashop Dashboard - Preferences - General - Enable SSL - Save??

Hello Dpass2038,

I understand you're trying to use the shared SSL with and an older version of Prestashop, but I should warn you that you may be slowing your site down, as the SSL doesn't apply JUST for the payment portion of the site. It applies to the entire site in order to enable it. Up front, the best solution is purchase an SSL certificate. And yes, those are the correct steps for enabling the SSL certificate. As per the forum posts, SSL certificates are relatively cheap. If you're still having problems with trying to use shared SSL, please let us know.
