I can access my cPanel by browsing to the domain name (e.g. http://domainname.com/cpanel) but can't access it over SSL (e.g. https://domainname.com/cpanel) even though I have an SSL certificate installed. How do I set this so it always redirects to https?

Hello OpenCartx,

This requires root access and can be done through the WHM interface. In order to have this done, simply submit the request to support@inmotionhosting.com. Make sure you add verification information - last 4 digits of the credit card on the account or the Account Management Panel (AMP) password. Advise them of the specific HTTPS URL that you wish to use - make sure it's the same as your SSL cert (We need this detail because I'm not sure if you have multiple domain names on the VPS). Live support will handle this through the ticket - it won't take very long.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
