Hello Warrinercja,

The SQL server is the same as your domain name. If you're making an outside connection to it, then you would use your domain name (or the server name that you can find in AMP under details for your subscription). Typically, if you are using the server name or domain name then you are making an outside connection to the server. Here's an article on how to do that using your cpanel:

If you running a program web application that is running on our server, then the typical value for the SQL server will be "localhost".
