Hi oklahomadruid,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm more than happy to assist you today. We've looked into this for you, and it appears the domain is still under Yahoo's control. You'll need to retrieve the registry key from them when they release the domain. Then, with the registry key, you should be able to transfer the management rights to InMotion Hosting.

Yahoo uses the same registrar as we do, which is Melbourne IT. We see instance of this when trying to transfer the rights of a domain between MIT resellers.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thanks!

Tim S
