Attempting to transfer domain from GoDaddy which expires in 2020 but InMotion is reporting the domain is expired and will not let me proceed. How do I continu

You'll probably want to make sure that you're following all of the steps laid out in our guide for how to transfer a domain name to InMotion Hosting.

Most notably, you'll want to make sure that your domain name is unlocked, and that you also have access to the administrative email address listed for the domain name, so that you can retreive the authorization code for the domain name.

If it's still giving you issues and you have your domain's authorization code, and have confirmed it's unlocked, then please contact our live support either via chat from the link at the top-right of this page, or by calling in to support at the number above.

Please let us know if following everything in the transfer guide was able to resolve your issue. If this problem had to be handled by live support we can possibly update that documentation to help out other people in the future who are having the same issue as yourself.
