I'm using PrestaShop 1.6.0.9. After it is migrated from shop.domain.com to domain.com, the Product does not load any image or data/details when I preview it . Although the data and images were still in the Catalogue and Product Modules. All other functions and pages of my PrestaShop seem to be working fine (After the migration and the Support Team helped to move the files to public_html) except the Product details not showing. I've tried the following measures but none worked:
1. Re-indexed data after migration. Log in to admin panel go to Preferences -> Search. Press Add missing products to the index button and then Re-build the entire index.
2. Opened the catalogue/product modules and re-saved the data
3. Deleted catalogue and products and re-created the product again
4. Used PrestaShop's Cleaner module to delete the catalogue/product data, fix and cleaned the database and
5. Reset the catalogue/product related modules under Modules, Modules - Configure and then recreated the product again
6. Also tried Advanced Parameter Caching - Enable and Disable
All that and the product still doesn't show when I preview the page. Please help.

Hello,

Unfortunately with your shop in the maintenance state I am unable to check out the issue. I did set up a test on my own server and moved a shop from shop.example.com to example.com. I did not experience any issues, however, so I cannot guess as to what the issue may be at this point. I did check your database to ensure that the same fields that were changed in my own test were also correct in yours. They seem to be set correctly.

If you could remove the maintenance mode so we can test I may be able to take a look at the behavior and get a better grasp on the situation for you.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M

Hi Scott, Thanks for checking my database and testing. I've enabled my shop now. I've also tested the SEO & URL – I’ve tried changing my URL from “domain.com” to “www.domain.com” - Some information (and the category image) from the Catalog\Category appeared but not the product information. If I leave the URL as “domain.com”, the Product page appeared blank when preview or click on the MyShop button in Front Office. It seems the problem lies in the Catalog\Product module. Friendly URL is not in use. I've tried to turn them on and off several times and still can't the Product details appear on preview or Myshop (when I click on it). I've also tried - Cleared cache, regenerated Robots File. Also enabled and disabled the Advanced Parameter Caching. Thanks again for helping.

Hello Chris,

Sorry for the continued issues. I did take a look at your database and it's odd because I couldn't really find anything in the database. I'm going to put this issue on hold until tomorrow when I can talk with Scott because it appears that he has more information on the issue. I'm not sure what he did, but I wanted to compare notes with him to see what was happening with your installation. We will post a response on this issue early tomorrow afternoon.

We do appreciate your response and your patience as we research the issue.

Kindest regards,
Arnel C.

Hi Arnel, Thanks for looking into the issue. I installed PS1.6 using Softaculous and all the CMS and product/shop pages were working fine before the migration from shop.domain.com to domain.com. So I'm puzzled why only the product/shop page stop working after the migration. Could it be a bug within PS1.6 or htaccess file issue? I can't find the htaccess regeneration tool in PS1.6. Should I reinstall PS1.6 or install PS1.5x version? Thanks for helping. Kind regards, Chris

Hi Scott and Arnel, would you please let me know if the issue is a work-in-progress or a dead-end? I'm deciding if I should try the PS1.5 x version or Switch to Opencart. .....your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Found error after Error Reporting is run. The problem disappears after clearing the web browser's cache.
