My Outlook 2010 suddenly started displaying following message in a pop-up box: "Your IMAP server wants to alert you: Fatal error: No such file or directory". It does this again and again (every second or so) filling up by screen with pop-up boxes and effectively making my Outlook useless. I've checked my IMAP account settings, and all are OK. I'd really appreciate help in resolving this! Thank you.

Hello,

You might be experiencing similar issues to the things we cover in our IMAP issues affecting Outlook guide.

This Microsoft Outlook forum post also covers the same issue and recommends re-creating the IMAP account in Outlook as a possible fix.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.
