PHP version for Joomla 3.0.2
Category: Joomla
I went to install Joomla 3.0.2 from cPanel and the install halted stating the PHP version is not the minimum needed. Is it possible to have the current version upgraded for Joomla 3.0.2? The current version has 2 older Joomla sites (v1.5) on it now. I believe Joomla 3.0 needs PHP 5.3.1 and MySQL 5.1 to install and run. Please let me know.
Thank you,

Thank you for your question chafer! Sorry for the error with installing Joomla 3.0.2. Your server has PHP version 5.2.17. You will need to move to a php 5.3 server. Our systems support can do this for no extra charge. Unfortunately, this type of request cannot be done through the support center forum. Our tech support staff will need to do this. Please contact support by email (support@inmotionhosting.com) with this request. You will need to verify the account with the original AMP password or the last 4 digits of the credit card on file in the email. They will need account information like the domain on the account or the cpanel username. Sorry for the inconvenience Regards, James R |
