How do I fix the formatting in the Joomla admin?

Somehow i managed to change the color of my backend of Joomla 1.7 My screen is white writing on a black screen for every page. Anyone know how to correct this issue?
In addition, I cannot use Extension to upload programs. Is this issue related?
Do I need to do a restore and how do you do that? Lots of ? thanks a bunch!

Hi koja2120@gmail.com, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. Did you change the admin template in: Extensions->Template Manager->Administrator? I'd start there to see if the template is set correctly to the Khepri template. You can also edit the CSS of the admin area there as well. As for uploading, I cannot say whether it's related or not. What were you doing when you noticed the change? Did you change templates or upload a new extension to use? If changing the Admin template does not resolve the issue, you may have to restore your website from a backup.
