Hello, I need help understanding why my scripting is not pulling up the updated information from the library.

All of my pages have a side bar with information that should pull from the library. I've updated the info in the library files, but the pages are pulling that data. It looks as if it wants me to go into every page and change the data there. How do I reset it to make all the pages pull from the library.

When originally setting the pages it was done in dreamweaver. After uploading I now just make my changes through the cpanel file manager.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello dreamt7,

Is your code giving you any error messages or is is simply showing the wrong data? I am not fluent enough in javascript to give a full rundown without a testing environment, but I would check to ensure that the code in each page is calling from the library.

If all pages point to the library, it should show up as long as the code is sound. I would also take a look at the W3Schools on the specific code you are using to pull the data to ensure proper syntax and parameters.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.
