How do I create a sitemap for a large site without affecting the server?

We are redesigning our site, www.AsiaPropertyWorld.com and in the next couple of weeks we will have over 100,000 unique pages. We need to be able to generate and submit a site map to the search engines.
I have looked at the help forum and it would appear that this is the product recommended by InMotion http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/standalone-google-sitemap-generator.html and the info shown says that it is capable of doing what we want. E.g. a site map can contain a maximum of 50,000 URLs and this product will create several linked maps which is just what we need.
Does anyone have any direct experience of this product or can you recommend an alternative that you are using ?
One thing that does concern me is that to create such a large sitemap will take the computer some time and it may put too much of a strain on the CPU and result in an account suspension. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to prevent this happening?
Any other pointers on large site maps would be gratefully received.
